Bronzed Summer Glow Beauty Tutorial

This stunning beauty look by Eye of Horus Cosmetics is a must have for summer. We think this bronzed summer glow will be great for a suave late-afternoon BBQ when the sun sets to accentuate your glow, or for a glamorous evening look.

For this Bronzed summer glow, used a universally flattering warm colour palette with some shimmery finishes and a glistening smoky eye. Combine with dewy skin, brushed-up fluffy brows, lengthened lashes and a nude lip for the ultimate sun-kissed and luminous look. Follow the steps below to recreate this stunning look by Eye of Horus Cosmetics.

 

Start by creating a warm base:

1. Be sure to cleanse and moisturise your skin. Option: You can mix the Luminous Highlighter in Dusk Bronze with your moisturiser for an extra radiant glow.
2. Apply the Triple C Concealer in your ideal shade to the under eyes and other desired areas of the face to even out the skin tone, blending out with your fingertips or using the Vegan Concealer Brush.
3. To add warmth to your complexion, use the shade Bronze Ochre from the Love and Light Palette. Apply with the Vegan Contour Brush along the cheekbones, nose, forehead and jawline.
4. Apply the shade Ethereal Rose from the Love and Light Palette to the apples of the cheeks for a vibrant and healthy finish.
5. Illuminate the high points of the cheeks using the Luminous Highlighter in Dusk Bronze to take your glow to the next level

To create golden bronzed eyes:

1. 1. Using the Vegan Blending Brush, apply the shade Jupiter from the Summer Solstice Palette through the crease of the eye lid and blend evenly. Then apply the shade Mars, to the outer corners of you eyelids and blend until you get a smooth transition between the shades. Then with the Vegan Eyeshadow Brush, pat the shade Burst from the middle to the inner corners of the, this will add a golden shimmer to your eye.
   2. For intensified colour, we recommend wetting your Vegan Blending Brush before applying the Burst shade.
   3. Apply the Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown along the lash line and softly smudge out using the opposite end until smooth. This will really help to accentuate your eyes .If you prefer a winged look, continue the eye liner and slightly wing out, ensuring it lifts so it doesn’t give the appearance of droopy eyes.
   4. To finish off the eyes, curl your lashes using the Goddess Lash Curler and clamp until lifted. Then apply two coats of the Goddess Mascara Babylon Brown to add volume to and lengthen the lashes. Be sure to curl before you apply mascara.
   5. Shape and fill in your brows using the Dual Brow Perfect by using light strokes that mimic your hair’s natural direction of growth. Brush and set the brow hairs in place for the day by combing them over with the brow gel wand.

For pout-worthy nude lips:

1. Apply the Goddess Lipstick in Artemis Nude evenly over your lips.
2. Pair with the Bio Lip Elixir and apply over the lips for a subtle glossy finish. Gloss gives the appearance of fuller lips.
3. Or for the ombre lip trend, try a darker Artistry Lip Liner and pair it with a lighter shade of lipstick. This will give you a fuller, plump look for bigger looking lips!
